Why is that when I work out I know I'm putting equal amounts of excercise and weight on both sides of my body. However, physically I can feel the tension, etc. in one side more than the other. ???

One side may be weaker than the other... for example guys that are right handed (throw the baseball or shoot righty) tend to be stronger or "feel" stronger from thier dominant side.

I would be curious if the side you are talking about is the side you use to say write with....etc!

It isn't my arms though...

It's my legs, glutes, and even abdominals.

Then don't worry about it, you women tend to over analyze everything.... I am sure you in pro-portion just fine! ;)

If it happens with arms it can happen with the rest of your body. If you feel that one side is struggling to push the weight, go lighter and make sure that both sides are pushing force equally. The reason to go lighter is because the weaker side experiences more strain to catch up to the strong side as the stong side doesn't work as hard and doesn't get stronger. Eventually (after a month or 2) you won't be all crooked anymore.

it could also just be in your head too...lol.

Just make sure to never let one side overpower the other. I've seen some fucked up-looking people with one lat bigger than the other and so on. Proportion is the key.
