tapas lounge on 1st ave and 58th street. really nice place. great decor. food is very good too. all the windows open up so its got a nice open air feel to it.

xunta in the east village is a bit more rowdy but good also.

Im gonna mesh the 2 together...cuz of a common dominator you mentioned. :chuckle

I've been *out of the loop* with a certain scene and people I used to roll with BACKKKK in the day....some being the owners of Casa La Femme..who ALSO happen to own Tapas Lounge. :chuckle

:heart Anastasi & Medhat :heart

These mofos BLEW da FAWK up in the early 90s with Casa LaFemme on 150 Wooster. I used to LOVE it there. It was more of a club than restaurant at times. It was the days when Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell were regulars ...and every night was Fashion Week in there .. .LOVED it :sneaky

They blew UP so much that they opened up a Greek place called EROS on the upper east side and opened a smaller tapas lounge next door to it called ..what else ? TAPAS Lounge lol I was def all over their places for a long time in the early-mid 90s. Casa was the *be seen* place ....Eros was the* if ur hungry for some greek food and want an authentic mediterranean atmosphere* place ..and Tapas was the *if u wanna take a chick for some sangria and tapas and get laid* place :chuckle

After my life changed a lil ...I lost touch with that crew and stopped doing those kinda places for a bit. here is where I lost my bearing for a while lol

Since then ..it seems the ORIGINAL Casa La Femme closed on Wooster :dramabye ..and is supposedly a parking lot now ? :giveup

Eros closed down and If Im not mistaken that is where they made the NEW Casa La Femme that BULLETPROOF went to. ..and Tapas is still Tapas right next door.

So, there's a lil history about those places lol

Dani . .if I were u ..ehh . .Tapas is DEF more about *the appearance* ..I never really was THAT crazy about the actual food. You're going with your BF ..so, whateva ..he's getin laid . .you're getitn laid. Why bother ? :ROTFL justjess' suggestions were decent . .and more downtown and accessible for us Jersey folk. :neener

HOLLA !
