Hmm I forgot to post the recipe but I'll try and do it from memory..

I'm not going to give exact measurements because I use more of what I like so it's up to you I guess.

First off, you can use fresh veggies if you have time or out of the can. Either way it's still :spitfall.

Ok to start get a big pot and put in sliced potatoes fill with salted water until water is just covering all the potatoes. Let boil and soften (not too soft because they are going to boil in the stew as well)

Then get another pot and add oil (not too much). Your going to need 2 or 3 packages of cubed beef. Brown the beef in the oil...don't cook all the way, once again it will cook in the stew, just brown all sides. Throw in some onions and saute.

After this you want to add (to the pot containing beef and onions) your potatoes and water---> I use the water the potatoes boiled in because it has more flavor. And then add 2 medium sized cans of tomato sauce (not chunked...if you have canned tomatoes, like redpack or something, blend first) Then usually I put peas and carrots. You can use whatever other veggies you like.

Just MAKE SURE everything is covered in the pot with the water. Let boil then lower flame, cover and let cook for like 3 hours. The longer the better. Get some italian bread and you're good to go!

Of course you want to add salt and pepper...I like a lot of salt but that's up to you.

It's pretty simple.
