chelly, honestly, thats retarded short notice.

and what are u looking to spend?

    seriously, craigslist and village voice.
otherwise do a search for new york city apartment management companies on google and call them directly for availabilities.

youre not gonna find something for the 1st tho. be a little realistic. maybe the soonest , and its still too short, its the 15th.

the only thing you're going to find on 3 days notice without a broker is going to be a dump or have something seriously wrong with it. I'd shoot for the 15th.......

RICKY - i work in production... and i am doing the work myself.. i figured this is a real estate forum and maybe someone could provide me with something to make my search quicker and easier

cher.. i know.. i'll figure it out.. i found a bunch of places that are available immediately.. but a little out of my price range which i'd rather not talk about on ncc.. so maybe this isnt a good idea lol

its just frustrating because i dont want to commute 7 days a week. i was just wondering if anyone knew of any sites or something

You know what, you are right. I am sorry. My inner frustration for people expecting a free service got the best of me. There is a no broker option on craigslist. Or you could go to a building directly, instead of working with a management company.

Craigslist is the best! What neighborhoods are you considering? Yikes. Good luck
walk in the rain, smell flowers, stop along the way, build sandcastles, go on field trips, find out how things work, tell stories, say the magic words, trust the universe.

craigslist--- but most ppl on there that post are brokers anyways

since you're only looking for a one month deal (right?)--you should look at 1 bedroom sublets

UES is a good cheap area---and my area too...we can be neighbors lol
