The past week my schedule has been very busy with a lot of physical exertion (moving apartments, walking back and forth to Home Depot (carrying a ton of heavy crap), Bed Bath & Beyond, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, CB2, etc. No way I could eat 100% healthy foods and still get the calories I need to match my TDEE, so I decided to give my diet a rest and eat whatever I had a taste for: burgers, pizza, mexican, etc.
After 3 days of eating like that, my fingers were swollen, my feet were swollen, I had salt blisters on my tongue, my lips got chapped, and waking up in the morning got really hard... I used to spring awake with energy, and I've been dead tired in the mornings.
It's amazing how eating unhealthy, particularly high sodium diets, can have such a dramatic adverse affect on the body.
