But I had to throw down what I heard about it, MONTHS ago. and hearing the rumors kinda circle NY and Even HERE in Berlin, I had to make a topic about it..
For those who have never been, or never heard of it. Sankeys IS/WAS the Twilo of sorts of Manchester. I would even go further to say Iv enjoyed myself more at Sankeys then The orig 27th St Sound factory. The place has serious magic to it. and the owners Who I have known for years, know what the fuck there doing. So Even tho Noone will confirm it for me. Its sure to say, people are talking about it.
400-500 Capacity room in NY.
Excited. if its true. NY seems to be coming back. With SEVERAL large ideas taking shape!

^I saw that, Did a google search and it came up.
2500 capacity there saying? and 2 levels? Thats not what I heard, But I DID hear the 50's....
That puts that "OTher" big room in midtown to possibly be sankeys.

NYC starting to look like it may be sick again (soon enough). Whens this other place D36 opening? i been stuck in bk past year or so thats where its been at. under the radar events with great talent keeping it alive. From the past month theres been a lot of BS with new nightclubs opening. Starting to think it may be true.

thanks for info can wait see it. drum code was one of my fav parties wmc @ space. should be exciting.
if and when sankeys happens it will def be in it's own category. i been doing research and if they remotely come close utilizing the brand I think nyc will be in great shape. since electric zoo festival started it def opened the eyes of most club goers in ny.
