    AMSTERDAM DANCE EVENT
    30 Oct 2003 - 01 Nov 2003 (annual)
By day the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is Europe's most important conference on dance and electronic music, by night it's a festival, drawing talent from across the dance music spectrum to venues around the city including Escape, Melkweg and Paradiso.

Over 100 DJs and artists are expected to take part in the event, with parties going off throughout the night. Previous visitors have included Chic, Jeff Mills, Lucien Foort, DJ Sneak, Mark Farina, DJ Dego, Jack de Marseille, DJ Moguai, Marcello, Pete Heller, Le Funkubine and many, many more. The emphasis is on discovering new music and there are showcases by labels and companies bringing over new artists and DJs.

As well as the official night time programme, a multitude of parties and club nights take place all over the city, making Amsterdam the centre of the dance music world. Whether it's electro, garage, techno, drum & bass, funky grooves, club or avant-garde you fancy, there's something for even the most demanding ear.

It's not all about partying of course, and while you're recovering from a night listening to the next big thing to hit the decks, more than 800 music industry professionals from all over the world gather at the Felix Meritis Foundation for a very important music business conference. Focused solely on dance music, the ADE is Europe's main platform for labels, publishers, agents, management, artists and DJs to get together, do business, make new contacts, re-establish old ones and to share the buzz on new tracks and records.

Please contact the organisers or visit the festival website for further details.

what they don't tell you about the Red light district is that 95% of the females are playmate material.
