If you dont know what your doing.......YES it is as bad. If you do, well thats a different story.

So are you saying that other drugs are OKAY for you when used in moderation too?

Not at all. Doing let's say...Coke in moderation for instance, is NOT going to give you positive effects on your body.

Doing small doses of testosterone on the other hand can be very beneficial in some males. Doctors use steroids every day to treat patients that would other wise have major medical problems.

Anabolic Steroids, used in moderation,can boost a mans natural testosterone levels, making him feel and look strongr and more healthy. There was a great article in Mens Health last year that I wish I had right now. It went into depth about how many males have safely and effectively used anabolic steroids to kick start their natural testosterone levels, ;leading to a much happier and healthier life style.

As far as comparing steroids to street drugs, you ARE in fact comparing apples to oranges. Steroids dont alter your mind and nervous system. Steroids also dont have you end up at a club tweaked out of your mind looking like death.

How about those FREAKS who walk around with 27 inch arms with puffy nipples and veiny skin?

And those that use street drugs that are "tweaked" out of their mind are those who are ABUSING. So back to your original statement--"if you abuse them, they are bad for you".

steroids are illegal because of misinformation and incomplete studies shown in the 80s....so now performance enhancing drugs are Schedule III drugs which put them in the same class as heroin cocaine etc....and this makes sense to pple??

Steroids can be used to enhance performance and create lean muscle mass.....cocaine can be used as an anethestic/ pain reliever....

so if i use steroids ( even tho they are illegal) to increase my overall stength and ability....and the guy next to me uses cocaine because hes bored and wants to get "high" that puts us in the same boat? we should receive the same penalties?

To your first point, those juice freaks are the ones that have forced Steroids into the balck market. M-O-D-E-R-A-T-I-O-N

Second point, please tell me how doing coke or other street drugs has positively affected your health an well being? Did you ever feel like amillion bucks after doing a few bumps? Did you feel like going out and taking a jog after taking a pill? 1/2 a pill?

I'm sorry, but out of the 100 guys that I've met in all my years clubbing, I'd say 96 of them were on steroids just because they WANTED TO LOOK BIG AND MUSCULAR not necessarily because they want to increase their overall strength and ability.

pple who are using 'street drugs' are either using drugs intended for something else to alter mental status (heroin,cocaine ) or are creating their own (exctasy, crystal meth) for the same purpose....

steroids are being used for the purpose they were made...but then government thru misinformation now says you are not allowed to....

I'm not advocating or promoting drug use Mike. I'm not saying one is better than the other. I think they're EQUALLY damaging.

I'm sure there are horror stories of people who take steroids too, so don't give me that crap that it's "safe and good for you". Orange juice is good for you, not injecting yourself with chemicals.
