Success does not mean right. I would be disappointed if peace protesters were still protesting the war at this point. Like I said before, the troops are over there and right now their safety and return as quickly as possible is paramount. I don't have much sympathy for those still protesting their hearts out because to me they deny reality and they are of no use to the dissension which now needs to focus on making sure we fulfill our duty to see this thing through in terms of the Iraqi civilians and making sure the administration doesn't go unscathed for it's conduct leading to the war and currently.

This article talks about this rather well.

I think these people are protesting because they think its trendy or something. I think they dont even know what they are protesting anymore. How does anyone with any common sense rationalize protesting a war thats already so far gone and think that its going to change anything?
You always were the one to show me how.
Back then I couldn’t do the things that I can do now.
This is slowly taking me apart.
Gray would be the color if I had a heart.
I just want something I can never have.
In this place it seems like such a shame.
Though it all looks different now,
I know it’s still the same.
    Everywhere I look you’re all I see.
Just a fading fucking reminder of who I used to be.

He's a trip. I can't figure out what's going through his head. It's like he's waiting for God himself to come and prove him right.

You think Sadaams got one last trick up his sleeve? I mean honestly, he knew what was going to happen with all the surrenders. And if he didnt he was certainly aware of what was happening as the war progreesed (s). I wouldnt put it past him if he has the whole city wired with a nuke to blow the entire city sky high while he tunnels his way out of the country. I would hope not but this guy has no respect for human life whatsoever.

I don't dispute that. Iraq without Saddam is decidedly better for everyone including the Iraqi civilians, but it doesn't change how this war came about which I feel is clearly wrong. My feeling is the war is here and no sense in arguing whether we should go to war, but after all is said and done, Bush and Co. still have some things they need to answer for.

I mean honestly think about it. The government thinks that because Osama and Sadaam arent on Tv and that there old videos means something to the lines that theyre dead. Um no, it means they have made there point and they want us thinking they are dead. Us forces are in Bagdhad, why would you want to be on Tv. Thats only going to continue the push to find your ass. Osama took credit and that was it. There toying with the mental aspects of war which is a very smart ploy. Videos can tell alot if you study them. So why dig your own grave?
